Our community is experiencing a high volume in fraud and scam attempts. Criminals may contact you by phone, text, email, or social media pretending to be from Farmers National Bank. Farmers National Bank will NEVER call, text, or email you to ask for your account number, debit card number, PIN, password, or Online/Mobile Banking username. If you receive a suspicious request, hang up and contact us directly at 866-888-0220. Farmers National Bank has been “Your Lifetime Bank” since 1879. It is the 8th oldest bank in Kentucky as well as the oldest operating business on Main Street in downtown Danville.

 

Farmers National Bank has been a banking innovator in Central Kentucky.  In 1959, Farmers National Bank provided the first drive-in facility on Walnut Street. An automated, 24-hour teller machine was installed in 1978, the first of its kind in the area. In 2017, the bank introduced the areas first Interactive Teller Machine.

 

We are still committed to providing exceptional service today and were voted Best Bank in the Danville Advocate-Messenger Readers Choice Awards (October 2025). In addition, Farmers National Bank was selected the Best Bank for Checkings, Savings and Loans in Casey County in the Casey County News 2026 Best of Casey County Readers' Choice Awards.
